My term 3 goals

Writing

I think I am doing really well in the area of writing. I know how to use most language resources but there’s always room for improvement.

I would like to use more originality in my writing and I need to step out of my comfort zone. I want to get better at showing rather than telling (painting a picture in my readers head) I need to use more words that describe sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.

I am reasonably good with spelling, punctuation and grammar but I think I need to edit more carefully so I can correct any mistakes I have missed.


Maths

I think I have done really well in maths this year. I would like to get better at comparing and dividing fractions. I think I need to work on my higher times tables (20x and up).


Production

I am really looking forward to production! I love my dance and I am so glad I got a speaking role. On the night if I don’t trip up in the dance or forget my lines I’ll be happy.


Speeches

I am going to try and be confident while I’m speaking and I am going to try and memorize my speech so my words flow better.
